CAIEP Learning Network: Interprofessional Education (IPE) Training

This 90-minute training provides foundational knowledge of interprofessional competencies and their meaningful application in teaching and learning. It is a follow-up to new faculty onboarding and for those newly adopting IPE in their curriculum. Content includes:
• Basic tenets of interprofessional educationand collaborative practice.
• Brief history of IPE/IPCP interest and implementation.
• Coverage of the 2023 IPEC competenciesthat guide IP programming.
• IPE intersection with patient safety, quality, and care
• Overview of CAIEP programming andpossibilities for curricular integration.
