Matthew Anderson, associate professor and chair, Department of English and Language Studies, presented a paper on Law and Literature at the University of Athens (Greece) on May 6, 2011.

He presented a paper on "The One and the Many: Reading Jefferson with Achilles" as a member of a panel on the topic of "Law, Literature, and Morality," at a conference on "The Letter of the Law," organized by the Hellenic Association for the Study of English (HASE).
