Noah Perlut receives $13,500 grant from NRCS in Vermont

Noah Perlut, assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Studies, received a $13,500 grant from the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Vermont to assess the effects of wildlife and forestry conservation practices for improving priority bird species habitat in Vermont.  This project stemmed from Audubon Vermont's Forest Bird Initiative (FBI) and was aimed at working with foresters to integrate songbird habitat management into their management plans and silvicultural prescriptions.
