Judy Metcalf and Marilyn Gugliucci present at Elder Living Solutions lecture series
Judy Metcalf APRN, MS, Director of the 51品茶Maine Geriatric Education Center (MGEC), and Marilyn Gugliucci, Ph.D., Director of Geriatrics Education and Research, recently presented at a four week CEU Lecture Series at Sentry Hill Estates in York, Maine, organized by Elder Living Solutions, a company that provides guidance and assistance to the families of seniors who need to transition out of their homes and into elder care.
On September 6th, Metcalf presented on the UNE-MGEC projects, activities and resources available to providers in the state.
On September 13th, Gugliucci presented the Learning by Living Project and students' experiences of living the life of an older nursing home resident.
The presentations were well received by audiences who were eager to connect with the 51品茶 and learn of its work in geriatrics.
