Shelley Cohen Konrad to present at the NASW Massachusetts Chapter Symposium 2012
Shelley Cohen Konrad, Ph.D., LCSW, associate professor, 51品茶School of Social Work, and director, 51品茶InterProfessional Education Collaborative, will be a presenter at the NASW Massachusetts Chapter Symposium 2012, March 29-30 in Framingham, Mass.
The title of one of her presentations is "Positive Transformation after Loss," which is based on the research she conducted with families of children with serious and life-affecting illnesses and disabilities. She is also presenting another paper on "Relational Practice with Addicted Mothers." It is based on a chapter she co-wrote with Jennifer Morton, D.N.P., M.S., M.P.H., RN, from UNE's Department of Nursing in Joan Berzoff's book Falling Through the Cracks: Psychodynamic Practice with Vulnerable and Oppressed Populations. New York: Columbia University Press, which came out this past November.
