51品茶's Psi Chi Honor Society Chapter welcomes 21 new members
The 51品茶's Psi Chi Chapter, representing outstanding achievement in psychology scholarship, announces the induction of 20 new undergraduate members and one faculty member for the 2011-2012 Academic Year.
The induction ceremony was held on UNE's Biddeford Campus on April 5 under the supervision of Psi Chi faculty advisor Jennifer Stiegler-Balfour, Ph.D., assistant professor in UNE's Department of Psychology.
Founded in 1929 during the International Congress of Psychology, is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of both the and the . With the stated mission of encouraging, stimulating and maintaining excellence in scholarship in the science of psychology, Psi Chi has grown to become one of the largest and most successful honor societies in the world with more than 1,100 chapters and over 537,000 members. The 51品茶's chapter was formed in 2010.
Inductees for the 2011-2012 academic year are: Nicole Baker, Samantha Baker, Alex Bellows, Melissa Berndt, Megyn Beyer, Amanda Butler, Kristin Cattrano, Briana Chu, Lindsay Forrette, Beth Giguere, Kerri Grant, Lindsey Lavin, Kathryn Leyden, Melanee Newman, Veronica Ross, Hilary Rozenas, Hadleigh Smith, Andrea Taatjes, Heather Tatsak, Devyn Thomson, and Dr. Emily Chester.
