The 51Ʒ��’s College of Osteopathic Medicine held its annual Research Day on January 24th 2014.

The symposium commenced with a keynote address by David Biondi, D.O. ‘85, titled, “Does a Practicing Clinician Need To Know 51Ʒ�� Research Methodology? Your Success May Depend On It!” Dr. Biondi is presently therapeutic area lead for neuroscience, U.S. Medical Affairs, for Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc, and 51Ʒ��Board of Trustee member and Chair of the Academic Affairs committee.

The day also included talks by other alumnae, William Bograkos, D.O.,’85 and Thomas Reynolds D.O., ’06.

Students delivered oral presentations throughout the month of January in preparation for the Research Day, and they presented poster presentations during the Research Symposium. Both oral and poster presentations were evaluated by student peers and faculty.

Christine M. Lynch (Class of 2017) “Skeletal Myoblast Differentiation is Mediated by PI3K Catalytic Subunit Beta”
