'Journal Tribune' details 51品茶effort to restore small graveyard on Biddeford Campus
An article in the weekend edition, dated August 16, tells the story of how Alan Thibeault, 51品茶assistant vice president of planning, oversaw the restoration of a small graveyard on the Biddeford Campus.
The plot of ground, located on Old Pool Road, includes four small graves marked only by initials. It is unknown how far back the graves date or whose remains they contain. Nonetheless, Thibeault recognized the importance of paying proper respect to the lives they represent, and found the resources to clear away overgrown plants and debris. He also worked to rebuild the granite and iron fence around the plot.
鈥淸G]rave sites honor the memory of people, even if you don鈥檛 know who they are,鈥 Thibeault explains in the article.
