Amy Kinner gives webinar presentation on linked claims and clinical data
On March 9, Amy Kinner, M.S., adjunct instructor for the Graduate Programs in Public Health, health services researcher at Onpoint Health Data, presented with a team of experts on a webinar sponsored by the All Payer Claims Database (APCD) Council.
The presentation, "Profiling to Drive Transformation: Leveraging Linked Claims & Clinical Data," was given in conjunction with leaders of the . It included an overview of how Vermont and Onpoint are linking data (commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid) from Vermont's APCD with clinical data from the state's practice registry to do Accountable Care Organization (ACO) reporting and drive primary care transformation in Vermont. ​
The linkage allows the program to generate a series of metrics that highlight trends in healthcare delivery across more than 120 adult and pediatric practices and 13 Hospital Services Areas.
