College of Graduate and Professional Studies graduates first class in 2015

The College of Graduate and Professional Studies (CGPS) is honored to congratulate its first cohort of graduates in the class of 2015. The College of Graduate and Professional Studies was reestablished at the 51品茶 in 2014 and designated the home college for all online programs. The College will graduate 82 students from its fully-online Public Health program this academic year.

鈥淚t鈥檚 my honor to congratulate all of our graduates in the Class of 2015,鈥 says Martha Wilson, Ph.D., dean, College of Graduate and Professional Studies and associate provost for Online Worldwide Learning. 鈥淎s these graduates enter or advance in the workforce, it has been our privilege to support them in their learning experience.鈥

 Students in UNE鈥檚 online programs are located all over the globe. Some will visit the Portland Campus this month for the annual hooding and graduation ceremonies. Online students and graduates who cannot attend in person will still be able to experience the graduation ceremony via live streaming on the web. 鈥淲e are excited to finally meet our graduates face-to-face, many of them for the first time,鈥 says Wilson. 鈥淲e know they will all have a significant positive impact on their local and global communities, and for that we are immensely proud.鈥

The mission of UNE鈥檚 College of Graduate and Professional Studies is to enhance, expand, and enrich learning opportunities in the online landscape through student-centered operations, innovative instructional design techniques and sustainable business practices. 51品茶online graduate programs include Master of Science in Education, Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Education, Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), Master of Medical Education Leadership, Master of Public Health, Master of Social Work and more.
