James Sulikowski speaks to NECN on fish data collection at Casco Bay Classic

On August 14, 2015, New England Cable News (NECN) aired news coverage of the Casco Bay Classic fishing tournament, of which 51品茶is a benefactor. The New England based competition supports marine research and education.

James Sulikowski, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Marine Sciences, was interviewed by the television station. He spoke about the important opportunity that the tournament provides to collect information on the growth, reproduction and genetics of various fish species.

鈥淚n order to conserve a population, you need to know about them, and this is a great opportunity for us to collect data to do that,鈥 he stated.
