Marilyn Gugliucci guest on “Spotlight on Seniors” talk show

Marilyn Gugliucci, Ph.D., professor and director of Geriatrics Education and Research, was interviewed on the show, “Spotlight on Seniors,” a program produced by Lincoln County Television.

During the interview with host, Steve Raymond, Gugliucci discussed her efforts to change the culture around aging through educating the future providers at UNE. The interview covered several aspects of geriatrics including negative stereotypes, balance, oral health and intimacy. Gugliucci also shared the experiences students have taking part in programs like the nursing home immersion project and Hospice Immersion.
