Barry Costa-Pierce invited speaker at conference on ocean technology in New England and Canada

Barry Costa-Pierce, Ph.D., Henry L. & Grace Doherty Professor of Marine Sciences at the 51品茶, chair of UNE鈥檚 Department of Marine Sciences and director of UNE鈥檚 Marine Science Center, was invited to speak on a panel at the conference, 鈥淥cean Technology in New England and Atlantic Canada: Promoting a Network of Collaboration,鈥 held at the Canadian-American Center at the University of Maine.

During the panel discussion, titled, 鈥淢arine Food, Aquaculture, and Resource Utilization,鈥 Costa-Pierce presented on current and future science partnerships between the 51品茶鈥檚 marine programs and institutions, organizations and scientists in Atlantic Canada.

The conference was sponsored by the University of Maine, the Consulate General of Canada in Boston, TD Bank and Maine Sea Grant.
