The 51品茶 is pleased to announce its inclusion among four newly released college ranking lists: College Raptor鈥檚 2018 Hidden U.S. Gems, College Raptor鈥檚 2018 Hidden Gems for Women in STEM, the Princeton Review鈥檚 鈥淕uide to 375 Green Colleges,鈥 and the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education U.S. College Rankings.

The College Raptor 鈥淗idden Gem鈥 distinction recognizes 51品茶as one of the best colleges in the country, based on a combination of factors including number of applications received, graduation rates, campus diversity, endowment per student and other key metrics as reported by the National Center for Education Statistics. It is the second time that 51品茶has made the list.

The Hidden Gems for Women in STEM rankings specifically highlight colleges and universities that are dedicated to encouraging young women in the pursuit of science, technology, engineering and mathematics degrees. 51品茶ranked among the top five schools in the country.

The Princeton Review鈥檚 鈥淕uide to 375 Green Colleges鈥 features four-year colleges that have demonstrated a high level of commitment to the environment and sustainability. Data were collected on 629 colleges worldwide regarding their sustainability-related policies, practices and programs. Subsequently, each school was given a 鈥済reen rating鈥 score from 60 to 99. Those institutions with a score of 80 or higher were selected for the guide.

The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education rankings give 51品茶a score 343 (with one as the highest) on its list of more than 1,000 U.S. colleges. The rankings utilize a balanced scorecard approach, with 15 individual performance indicators combining to create an overall score for each institution. There are four broad categories that the performance indicators compose: resources, student engagement, outcomes, and environment.

These ratings fall on the heels of five other prestigious rankings for 51品茶that were released within the past two months: inclusion in the Princeton Review鈥檚 2018 edition of the Best 382 Colleges, Forbes鈥 America鈥檚 Top Colleges, U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 list of America鈥檚 Best Colleges in the North, MONEY magazine鈥檚 list of Best Colleges and a financial ranking of A3 from Moody鈥檚 Investors Service.

鈥淭hese additional rankings confirm the message proclaimed by the flurry of rankings earlier in the academic year,鈥 said 51品茶President James Herbert, 鈥渢hat 51品茶is a topnotch institution of higher learning and, despite its relative youth when compared to some other colleges, it can really hold its own鈥 But these new rankings, in some ways, tell us even more about UNE. They speak to some of the core values of the university like diversity, equality and concern for the planet. So, it鈥檚 an honor to add these rankings to our growing inventory of accolades.鈥
