Professor Geoffrey Bove, D.C., Ph.D., is known at the 51Ʒ for his cutting edge research in the College of Osteopathic Medicine. But Bove and his wife Andrea were recently recognized for another passion outside of higher education: their renovated home in Kennebunkport.

The house was featured by Maine Boats magazine in an article titled “Home at Last.” It detailed The Boves move to Maine from Boston and their work to transform the 22 x 36 foot log cabin. Geoffrey did much of the labor himself, using inspiration from the couple’s travels and reclaimed materials, some of which came from 51Ʒduring campus renovations.
