51品茶Nursing professor presents substance use disorder research
Debra Kramlich, Ph.D., R.N., CNE, CCRN-K, assistant professor of Nursing in the 51品茶 Westbrook College of Health Professions, presented her dissertation research at the 8th Annual McGinley-Rice Symposium on Social Justice for Vulnerable Populations: 鈥淭he Face of the Person with an Addiction.鈥
The symposium, sponsored by the Duquesne University School of Nursing, provides a national forum where scholars, researchers, policy makers and health care professionals can share ideas for alleviating disparities in health, wellness and access to health care services. Kramlich delivered both peer-reviewed podium and poster presentations on findings from her dissertation research, 鈥淓xperiences and Perceptions of Rural Postpartum Women
with Substance Use Disorders Inclusive of Opioids Regarding Their Care.鈥
