UNE鈥檚 Barton Seaver receives national recognition for latest cookbook, aquaculture work

Barton Seaver, senior advisor in Sustainable Seafood Innovations at the 51品茶, received an International Association of Culinary Professionals Award. His book, Two if by Sea, was recognized in the Food Matters category, which awards cookbooks that focus on the impact of food choices on personal health and the health of the planet.

Seaver was also recently named one of the 鈥30 Faces of Healthy鈥 by Cooking Light magazine. The magazine highlighted Seaver鈥檚 work in aquaculture. "I'm working to educate about how aquaculture has improved, and how it must be a fundamental part of our diet, both for health and the environment," he told the magazine. The list also recognizes the work of Michelle Obama, Marion Nestle, Alice Waters and Dan Barber.
