UNE鈥檚 Victoria S. Thieme recognized for contributions in clinical education
Victoria S. Thieme, D.O., clinical faculty in the 51品茶 College of Osteopathic Medicine Department of Primary Care鈥檚 Division of Family Medicine, has received several recognitions for her clinical education work over the last year.
This fall, Thieme was nominated to the position of student membership committee chair for the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine. She was also inducted as a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society through the Arnold Gold Foundation and made a Fellow of the Maine Gerontological Society. Additionally, she received the Roswell Bates Public Service Award from the Maine Osteopathic Association.
At 51品茶COM, Thieme also serves as director of the clinical experiences program, clinical director of the geriatrics practicum, clinical faculty for the 51品茶COM interprofessional education movement and student advisor for the Addiction Medicine Club and World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine student club.
