51Æ·²è student Alyssa Kaufold ’18 was recently recognized for her work at the Animal Welfare Society in Kennebunk. Kaufold, an Animal Behavior major, has been interning with AWS for the past two semesters.

AWS highlighted Kaufold’s many contributions on its website, stating that she eagerly takes part in several dog obedience classes every week, takes amazing pictures of cats and other animals for use on the website, works in the veterinary clinic, helps in the Development Department and has even helped at off-site events.

After she graduates in May, Kaufold will continue to put her 51Æ·²èeducation to good use. Her next chapter will take her to Key West to work with dolphins.
