Clinically, Elise specializes in treating adults and older adults across the continuum of care with neurological conditions and complex medical diagnoses including cancer. Elise is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS), and previously completed:  a three-day neuroanatomical dissection lab of brain and spinal cord. Elise seeks out opportunities to engage with the community, and serves as faculty advisor for the partnership between 51品茶and the residents at Westbrook Housing Authority as part of an interprofessional experience for students in the MSOT program. 

Elise also serves as a mentor to students in the OT program who are applying to the Center to Advance Interprofessional Education and Practice (CAIEP) for the Interprofessional Honors Distinction. The distinction recognizes students' interprofessional activity and learning while at 51品茶and is a nationally recognized micro credential.
