Dr. Ly is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the 51Æ·²è College of Osteopathic Medicine (51Æ·²èCOM) and the Co-Director of the Osteopathic Medical Knowledge (OMK) Course in Year 1. She teaches pharmacology and therapeutics in Years 1 and 2 of the undergraduate medical education curricula. Dr. Ly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Education from Temple University, Doctor of Pharmacy from Temple University School of Pharmacy, and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from 51Æ·²è. She is licensed to practice as a clinical pharmacist in the State of Maine and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is certified by the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) in Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Before joining 51Æ·²èCOM, she was a clinical pharmacist at Northern Light Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine. She is currently working on mentoring research in dental medicine education based on a formal mentoring program that she helped create at the 51Æ·²è College of Dental Medicine (51Æ·²èCDM), medical education research, and research in Pharmacoeconomics.
