Our commitment to innovation and collaboration drives us to continually advance solutions that address evolving challenges in the North Atlantic and Arctic regions. Past projects and initiatives include the 51品茶President鈥檚 Forum discussion 鈥淚s it Ethical to Profit From Climate Change?鈥 in which former 51品茶North director Barry Costa-Pierce participated on a panel.
In 2022, 51品茶hosted a portion of the annual University of the Arctic Assembly, where members gathered on our campus. The University of the Arctic is a 165-member network of universities, colleges, research institutes, and other organizations concerned with education and research in and about the Arctic and northern regions.
In the past, members from UNE鈥檚 community have engaged with 42藲N: New England Forum for Arctic Collaborations, a workshop that combines academic expertise in Arctic research across New England with researchers, stakeholders, and external partners concerned with environmental, economic, and social impacts.
